What Yoga Classes Do We Offer?

Our Basics Yoga on Mondays at 7pm and Thursdays at 9:15am is for folks wanting to become stronger and find ease in postures. We begin with warm-ups and work on the range of motion of the whole body. This class can be challenging for limited movement individuals but modifications will be suggested to help everyone move into their version of the pose. Longer holding of poses will challenge everyone. Childcare is offered during our Thursday 9:15 Basics class!

Ashtanga Yoga is a 90-minute class offered Tuesdays at 9:15am, and childcare is available during this class. Ashtanga is the original vinyasa method dating back many thousands of years. Because of this unfamiliar type of yoga practice it will be introduced to students in a slower manner. Students will learn and become stronger and more fluid. This is a challenging class but one that can be modified to find the balance, strength and flexibility needed in each pose. You will be surprised how a weekly practice can change the way you feel about yourself. Ginny will help you along with hope that you will learn to enjoy this practice and take it home to practice when unable to come to class. 

Our hour-long Flow Yoga on Saturday mornings at 9:15 is a class designed for individuals who are familiar with basic yoga postures and are comfortable to move and breathe in a fluid manner.

Our newest offering is Chair-Assisted Yoga on Tuesdays at 11:15am! This class is designed to help folks who are physically challenged in any way to still be able to breathe and move into a posture using a chair to sit or hold onto. Each individual will be given a chair and props to help with opening of the body to create a new way of feeling, seeing and holding oneself. This is a slower class to allow time between postures and to move into and set up for each posture.
